Sometimes taking the longer route is the best route. So today that is exactly what we decided to do. After leaving Glacier National Park we back tracked slightly .going into Whitefish, Montana.
We then headed south along the eastern shore of Flathead Lake. What a huge, beautiful lake! The scenery between there and Missoula, Montana was gorgeous.
Along our route we drove through wild wilderness, vast prairies and some pretty magnificent mountain ranges. By days end we safely landed back at my sister’s home just outside of Bozeman, Montana. We will be here through the week and have so much to catch up on and a huge list of adventures to take!
