9/18 - WATCHMAN TRAIL

Wrapping it up here today in Zion National Park. It’s been another amazing stay here. Tim and I took some spectacular hikes while here. With the recent major rock fall in Zion, a few weeks ago, we were not able to see everything we wanted. Guess that just means another return trip!

What we did accomplish today was the short 2.7 mile hike up Watchman Trail and a scrumptious dinner in town at Oscar’s Cafe.

The end of the Watchman trail gives views of the Watchman, lower Zion Canyon and the town of Springdale. I did a fun video for you all starting at the top of the trail and working our way back down to basecamp.

We then found Hanker’s Tankers at Oscar’s Cafe. Mas grande cervezas! The food was American, TexMex and Southwestern cuisine and just as tasty as the grub at Rosita’s.

Tomorrow is another moving day!

Today’s quote -

“Life’s too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don’t and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it’d be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.” -Dr. Seuss
