8/30 - WEST YELLOWSTONE

OOOOPS! SOMEHOW WITH THE SPOTTY SERVICE THIS POST FROM LAST FRIDAY DID NOT POST. SO HERE IT IS ....

Today we found ourselves in the town of West Yellowstone. Tim and I needed an update on the weather at home and would go ahead and take care of items scheduled for tomorrow today. Laundry. Supplies. Fuel. Etc.

Glad we did. As today could have been a bust with the rain that moved in. While in town we got two loads of laundry done. Checked with family. Got updates on the weather. Checked email and updated those who had checked on us.

A big thank you to my mom and step-dad, Phyllis and John, along with the best neighbors ever who helped secure and ready our home for the storm that is coming.

Tomorrow is a moving day for us and we hope that a cellular signal will be reachable at our next location. We love being off grid but it puts an edge on the atmosphere with not knowing about the impending weather at home.

With nothing else to talk about I’ll leave you with some more interesting photos I took while in town today.
