If you can imaging that! Tim and I took the trolley into Durango. It was perfect. The trolley drops you off anywhere between the campground and their last stop in Downtown Durango right by the train museum.
We had an fantastic day. First we got a coffee at the Durango Coffee Company then hit a few outdoor/hiking stores.
We eventually spotted the Durango Train Museum. The museum is a Five Star kinda place. AMAZING! It was everything we could so to keep from running through the museum.
Once finished there we of course by coincidence we came across a few breweries on our way through town and Fired Up (a pizza joint) in town. Thanks to the trolley we could just catch it back to camp not far from our last stop of the day.
Tomorrow should be a very enjoyable day as well. We already have our tickets for the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Train ride up to Silverton! WOO! WOO! CHUGA! CHUGA! Hammer down!
