July 18, 2021 - Best Morning Ever in Gillette

Our tour began at 8:30 AM at the ranch. What an amazing experience! We were taken to see the last calf of the season and I got to feed that baby cow. Then we went to see the miniature fainting baby goats that I was able feed as well. They were so sweet and adorable! I really wanted to take them home!

Next up we’re the pigs, chickens and various other foul feathered friends. And finally we toured the vegetable gardens. This Harvest Host stop was incredibly educational and what an eye opener on how our food is come by.

The last stop was their store. We managed to stock up on steaks, bacon, hamburgers, beef jerky, eggs and even some bananas bread. What a fabulous experience!

Afterwards we departed for Ten Sleep, Wyoming. The drive wasn’t bad. There was one 9,666 foot pass we went through to get here. This is a sleepy little town. It may take a day or so to be able to explore as the heat is expected to be 100+ here tomorrow.
