July 17, 2021 - Gillette, Wyoming

Travel day!

Today’s short drive took us from Custer, South Dakota to just south of  Gillette, Wyoming. We are here at another Harvest Host location. This one is on a ranch!

It was probably 78* when we departed Custer late this morning and a sweltering 98* when we arrived on the ranch. With hardly any humidity it’s not a Florida 98* hot. We do have a power hook up here and I think we will need it tonight. It had been nice not needing to run the AC at night in Custer.

Jett was given permission by the rancher to run free in one of the fields. Tim and I took her out there before sunset for a good game of fetch.

Early tomorrow morning we have a tour scheduled. There could be a baby cow involved and maybe even baby fainting goats. It’s going to be exciting!
