This morning was one our best days yet on this epic journey. Of course it started out early. Tim and I had a twenty-five minute drive first thing this morning to arrive at Balloon Fiesta Park by 6:15 AM.
I think I’ll just let the pictures do most of the talking. It was an unforgettable journey across the blue sky’s of Albuquerque. Tim has never been up in a balloon. I have two times previously in Florida. It was an opportunity that we had to take.
The flight was smooth. Weather conditions perfect. Our pilot was great. Albuquerque could not have looked better from up above. We really did see why they call it the land of the enchanted. Tim loved it! And of course we had the traditional celebratory drink of champagne or mimosas afterwards!!!
Tomorrow will be another early one. As it’s our big, big day to get 150 Airstreams parked flawlessly in just a few short hours at the Balloon Fiesta Park. Its going to be fun!
