A very strong and irresistible impulse or desire to travel the world. This is why we Airstream!
Thought it would be warmer down here at this lower elevation. However It’s been about the same. Interesting!
Not sure if we are any closer to civilization even though we are around more people now in this campground. Nearest full size grocery is now 37 miles away south of us in Cortez, Colorado. The small expensive grocery store in Telluride, north of us, is now 50 miles away. And another small expensive grocery on the way to Cortez is just 25 miles away in Dolores. Might be better off just eating out in Rico that’s now 12 miles north of us. Lol
We love it here at Priest Gulch Campground. We already have our reservation for next year. Definitely a nice sense of community here. Will probably combine it again with our last stop at Cayton.
Our morning was spent finishing a mini puzzle, picking up around the Airstream and cleaning floors. The afternoon was somewhat lazy. Just hung out. Talked to a few other Airstreamers. Washed a load of laundry and went fly fishing. Only a few nice bites. Didn’t land any fish. Does not matter just being on the water fly fishing makes us content. The fish seem to be pickier down here. Will probably go to a local fly shop tomorrow to see what flys are working here.
Maybe tomorrow will bring more luck!
