SEAL LEVEL

Friday morning came early. Today is moving day. Tim and I needed to drive farther north up the  eastern coast for the start of the next leg of this journey.

The long six hour drive became eight in no time. With bathroom breaks, lunch and a fuel stop the time adds up. The drive was pretty boring with only good scenery the last forty miles.

We have landed in Sea Level, NC. And landed at our 'hole in the wall' for the evening. Cedar Creek RV Park is just an old fish camp with no frills. And that's okay with us. All that we need is water and electric hook-ups for the evening because for the next two weeks we will be staying at National Parks that have no hook-ups. This little park is kinda cute. The views out to the barrier islands to the ocean were spectacular at sunset!

Tomorrow will be both exciting and scary. We will have a short 30 minute drive to Cedar Island. There we will embark onto a ferry ... Airstream and all! We've never had that experience and I said we would never do that but ... here we are.

Since not having much to blog about I'm going to leave you with just a few more pictures from the day ...
