While we waited for the weather to clear I was able to get some reading in and get the Airstream tidied up inside. With Jett’s allergy flare up and the massive shed she is in the middle of, five minutes later the Airstream is covered in dog hair again. Hopefully another day or two and the worst of her shedding will be over with.
As the afternoon approached we headed off to see Tim’s relatives down in Snead. They had scheduled a luncheon for us. In Alabama that means lunch is a full coarse meal. First course, main course and ‘of course’ dessert! Strawberry pie y’all!!! We spent our lazy afternoon chatting and catching up. This is the first time visiting them in awhile.
This is our last evening here. We hate leaving and really have enjoyed our time here again in this gorgeous campground and our special time with family. We’ve got many more miles ahead of us!
Tomorrow our trek begins to take us farther north. Tim and I are excited about our next three nights. All at different locations. They are all unique and fascinating places that will broaden our way of traveling and will be educational as well.
