Another moving day and with that we have no cell service. So our updates will be delayed. I will try to write an update daily but will post while on outings to areas that we can get a cellular signal. This means you may not get any posts on certain days or you might get lucky and receive several posts in one day.
Madison Campground here in Yellowstone is where we landed and it will be our basecamp the next week. We already miss our campsite at Mammoth. Tim and I were both concerned with what site we would be given with our reservation. As it turns out they gave us a really great site! We are nestled in among the pole pine forest and since we are in an end site of a row our site is very spacious. The Madison River is just a few hundred feet away.
In order to do today’s post we drove 15 miles from basecamp at Madison out of the park to the town of West Yellowstone. Hoping to also find a laundromat, grocery store and LP gas while out.
Found a laundromat!!!
